Ballet of the National Theatre Belgrade will be holding Annual Audition on May 28 2013 at 13.00 h for female (2 positions) and male (4 positions) dancers and for male soloists (2 positions) for the following season. Deadline for applications: May 27, 2013.

The first reading rehearsal of Bizarre, written by Željko Hubač and directed by Snežana Trišić, was held on Wednesday, 15 May, in the library of the National Theatre in Belgrade.

Promotion of Doctor Milovan Zdravković’s book Theatre Dictionary, published by Publishing Company “Zavod za udžbenike”, took place on “Raša Plaović” Stage on 15th May.

Representatives of the National Theatre in Belgrade and the Macedonian National Theatre from Skopje signed the Protocol on Long-Term Cooperation on 8th May.

Little Marital Crimes, a drama written by Eric Emmanuel Schmitt and directed by Filip Grinvald, was performed for the 50th time on Wednesday, 8th May, on “Raša Plaović” Stage.

Renowned dancer and choreographer, Vladimir Vasiliev presented the “Radomir Vučić” Award to Ms. Bojana Žegarac, soloist of the Ballet Company of the National Theatre in Belgrade. The National Theatre presents this Award to young and talented ballet dancers up to 28 years of age, for accomplished soloist and leading roles from the repertoire.
