MARIA ALLASH AND ALEXANDER VOLCHKOV PRINCIPAL DANCERS OF THE BOLSHOI THEATRE FROM MOSCOW PERFORMED SWAN LAKE IN SAVA CENTRE

Russian ballet stars, Maria Allash and Alexander Volchkov, principal dancers of the Bolshoi Theatre from Moscow, performed in Swan Lake in the Large Hall of the Sava Centre on 9th December.
The Russian artists performed the leading roles in the famous ballet for Belgrade audience. Allash interpreted the roles of Odette and Odile, while Volchkov interpreted Prince Siegfried.
On this occasion, the famous ballet had its 399th performance, with participation of the Ballet ensemble and Orchestra of the National Theatre under the baton of Ana Zorana Brаjović.
Numerous ballet lovers rewarded all artists with a long and cordial applause.
The production of Swan Lake ballet, to the music by Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky, after the libretto by Vladimir Begichev and Vasily Geltser, choreographed and directed by Dimitrije Pаrlić, had its opening on 14th May 1970 and was revived on 23rd April 1988.
