Konstantin Kostjukov

In 1987 – becomes a principal dancer in the Ballet of the Shevchenko Theatre in Kiev, Ukraine

In 1991 - engaged in the Ballet Company of the National Theatre in Belgrade as a principal dancer

In 2001 - graduated at the Department of Choreography at the Ukrainian International Theatre Institute in Kiev

In 2013 – obtained Master’s Degree in Choreography at the Kherson State University

Kostjukov was an assistant choreographer in ballet productions Wolves by Dietmar Seyffert and Romeo and Juliet by Anatoly Sekera. In 2017, he worked as a consultant during filming of The White Raven, directed by Ralph Fiennes.

Kostjukov choreographed ballet in the opera production of Aida for the Timisoara Theatre in 2003 and for the National Theatre in Belgrade in 2013.

In the Terazije Theatre, he choreographed musical production of Get Down to Earth in 2006, and in 2017, he choreographed ballet for The Phantom of the Opera musical.

Kostjukov choreographed and directed the ballet production of The Nutcracker in the National Theatre in Belgrade in 2014 and in Sarajevo in 2017.

He staged ballet production of Romeo and Juliet in the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad in 2014.

Annual Award of the National Theatre in Belgrade for the role of Basilio in Don Quixote in 1992

Annual Award of the National Theatre in Belgrade and the October Award of the City of Belgrade for the role of Master in Scheherazade in 1994

Award by the Federal Ministry of Culture for artistic achievement in 1995

Award “Davidoff” for contemporary theatre expressions in season 1998/99 for his roles in ballets Wolves and The Rite of Spring

“Golden Ring” Award by the Cultural and Educational Association of Belgrade for permanent contribution to culture in 2003

Award “Anatoly Sekera” of the International Theatre Institute of Ukraine (UNESCO) as the best Ukrainian dancer in 2002

In period November 2004 – 2011, he was a director of the Ballet Company of the National Theatre; and since November 2012, he has been an Acting Director of the Ballet Company of the National Theatre in Belgrade.
