New Beginning – National Theatre in Belgrade Resumes its Activities after Three-Month Break Caused by Pandemics of COVID-19 Virus
The National Theatre in Belgrade shall resume its activities upon three-month long pause caused by the pandemic of COVID-19 virus.
Rehearsals of Vassa Zheleznova, written by Maxim Gorky, have continued. The play is being directed by Zlatko Sviben. The Opera Company started with individual rehearsals of soloists and music associates, the Ballet Company started individual rehearsals and there are preparations for a concert which will take place at the Belgrade Summer Stage – Theatre at Tašmajdan, on 9th July.
The Box Office of the National Theatre shall start working on Monday, 1st June 2020, its working hours shall be the same as before the pandemic, 11:00-15:00 h and 17:00-20:00 h.
Tickets that have been unused in the previous period can be refunded in the following manner:
- One ticket purchased before the pandemic can be replaced by two tickets for performances that shall be performed at the Belgrade Summer Stage – Theatre at Tašmajdan, (9th July, Music-Stage Piece LIGHT, performed by soloists of the Opera and Ballet of the National Theatre; 10th July, performance of WHITE COFFEE, play written by Aleksandar Popović and directed by Milan Nešković);
- Tickets can be used for the National Theatre’s performances on the repertory in the following period;
- Tickets can be refunded for cash.
BALKAN SPY by Dušan Kovačević, directed by Tanja Mandić Rigonat, will be performed at the Open Summer Stage in Subotica on 14th July 2020.
