Gala Concert "Maria Callas Gala" Held to Celebrate the Diva's Birth Centenary

On the occasion of celebrating the birth centenary of the opera diva Maria Callas, on December 2, a gala concert "Maria Callas Gala" was held on the Main Stage.
At this magnificent artistic event, which was conducted by Zorica Mitev Vojnović, Đorđe Pavlović, Đorđe Stanković and Stefan Zekić, with the participation of the Choir and Orchestra of the National Theatre in Belgrade, all the sopranos of the National Theatre Opera performed - Jasmina Trumbetaš Petrović, Vesna Đurković, Ivanka Raković Krstonošić, Aleksandra Stamenković, Nevena Bridgen, Sofija Pižurica, Ana Rupčić, Sonja Šarić, Sanja Kerkez and Snežana Savičić Sekulić.
Arias from the roles that made Maria Callas famous were performed at the concert.
The concert was directed by Mario Pavle del Monaco and the concertmaster was Vesna Janssens.
