Boždar Đurović was born in Danilovgrad on 12th January 1960. In 1988, he graduated in drama and radio direction at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU).

Đurović is a standing director in the National Theatre in Belgrade. In the course of his career, he worked as an art director in Scena Zemun, head of Drama Department, assistant General Manager and General Manager in the National Theatre, art director and selector of “Days of Zoran Radmilović“in Zaječar and “Actors’ Festival Milivoje Živanović“ in Požarevac. He directed in theatres in Prague, Belgrade, Podgorica, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Šabac, Kiev..

He is engaged in opera and radio directing, as well. Đurović has received a number of awards for his achievements. He translates from Czech and Slovakian languages. He published a book of translations White Disease. He published a number of articles on theatre in Scena Magazine and in Knjizevne novine (Literary News). Professor at the Department of Acting, Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. Professor at the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade.
