Tickets CANNOT be reserved at the National Theatre in Belgrade box office, either in person or by telephone. Reservations are available exclusively for group visits.

In order to make its opera, ballet and drama repertoire accessible to a wider audience, the National Theatre in Belgrade offers special benefits for group visits by educational institutions and other legal entities (institutions, companies, businesses and organisations).

The National Theatre in Belgrade therefore grants:

1. A 40% discount on ticket prices for group visits by educational institutions (schools and faculties).
2. A 20% discount on ticket prices for group visits by other legal entities.
3. To qualify for a discount, at least 20 tickets must be purchased for one or more performances from the monthly repertoire. The discount applies to tickets for the second and third galleries of the Main Stage and to all tickets for the Raša Plaović Stage, except for the performance Balkan Spy.

The discount does not apply to premieres, guest performances or other special events.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS

The following discounts are available for performances of the National Theatre in Belgrade:

• Educational institutions receive a 40% discount on the regular ticket price when purchasing at least 20 tickets.
• Groups of other legal entities and individuals receive a 20% discount on the regular ticket price when purchasing at least 20 tickets.
• Pensioners receive a 50% discount on the regular ticket price upon presentation of a pensioner card.
• Students receive a 50% discount on the regular ticket price upon presentation of a student record book.
• Socially vulnerable categories, including persons with disabilities and socially disadvantaged persons, receive a 50% discount on the regular ticket price.

The discount applies to tickets for the second and third galleries of the Main Stage and does not apply to premieres, gala concerts or special events.

The discount also applies to tickets for the Raša Plaović Stage, except for the performance Balkan Spy.

Only second-category tickets on the Raša Plaović Stage are eligible for the discount. The discount does not apply to the performance Balkan Spy.

This decision does not apply to tickets purchased online.

PAYMENT METHODS

1. CASH at the National Theatre box office immediately before the performance. Please note that this payment method applies only when a ticket reservation has been made and confirmed in good time.
2. DEFERRED PAYMENT by pro forma invoice issued by the National Theatre at the customer request.

1. Arriving at the theatre

• Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance to avoid crowds and take your seats on time.
• Entry into the auditorium after the performance has begun is not permitted. If you arrive late, you may be directed to alternative seats if available.
• Visitors must observe a basic dress code and wear appropriate, tidy clothing.
• Shorts, sports shoes and strappy tops are not permitted.

2. Tickets

• Please prepare your tickets for inspection before entering the auditorium, or display the admission code on your device so it can be scanned.
• Tickets are valid only for the seats specified on them. Occupying other seats is not permitted.

3. Cloakroom

• Coats, jackets and bags must be left in the cloakroom free of charge.
• Visitors must keep valuables and personal belongings with them and are responsible for their safekeeping.

4. Conduct in the auditorium

• Please remain quiet during the performance. Switch off mobile phones and other devices that could disturb the performance or the audience.
• Recording and photography during the performance are not permitted.
• Food and drink are strictly prohibited in the auditorium.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the theatre, including the auditorium and all other premises.

5. Children in the theatre

• Children under five may attend performances without a separate ticket, but they are not allocated a seat and must sit on the lap of an adult accompanying them.
• Please check the age recommendations for individual performances.

6. Entering and leaving

• Once the performance has begun, the auditorium doors will be closed. Leaving during the performance is discouraged except in an emergency.
• After the performance, please wait for the auditorium lights to come on before leaving your seats.

7. Pets

• Pets are not permitted inside the theatre.

8. Additional information

• The theatre reserves the right to deny admission to visitors who do not comply with these house rules.
