Nataša Jović Trivić
NATASHA JOVIC TRIVIC, soloist of the National Theatre Opera in Belgrade was born in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), where she finished her primary and secondary schooling in the field of music.
In 1992 she enrolled in the Belcanto Department at the Belgrade Faculty of Music in the class of Professor Radmila Bakocevic. She graduated from the Faculty in 1996 and finished her M.A. studies in 1999 in the class of the same Professor.
In the 1994 / 1995 and 1995 /1996 opera seasons she was a member of the National Theatre Opera Studio in Belgrade. In 1997 she became a full member of the National Theatre Opera in Belgrade.
She has won a few first place awards at competitions in Serbia, and a few awards in International competitions in Belgrade (Serbia) 1998, Sofia (Bulgaria) 2000, Padova (Italy) 2004 and Rijeka (Croatia) 2005.
She also won the Danica Mastilovic Fund award, as the best belcanto student, the Anita Mastilovic Fund award as the best young opera singer, as well as Biserka Cvejic Fund best theatre personality award in 1997 and the National Theatre Annual Award for the role of Smeton in G.Donizzetti’s opera “Anna Bolena” and 2008 for the role of Charlotte in Massenet‘s opera “Werther”.
She has taken part in the interpretation of a large number of musical performances and she has collaborated on many ensembles like Belgrade orchestra, RTB ensemble, Macedonian Philharmonic orchestra and others.
She performed in Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro.
She won the years award of Association of the music artist of Serbia for the best music - performance achievement in 2008, for role of Charlotte in “Wherter” by J.Massene.
