“Young Choreographers” platform of the National Theatre in Belgrade is declared a Creative Ambassador of “Serbia Creates” national platform which acts as our country’s national brand and affirms the values of a modern state – creativity, innovativeness, originality and creative endeavours.
Within “Young Choreographers” platform initiated by the management of the National Theatre of Belgrade and the Ballet Department aimed at providing an opportunity to and making room for young, creative ballet performers, contemporary ballets such as “Bait” by Sanja Ninković (December 20, 2020) and “Seven Deadly Sins” by Igor Pastor (February 9, 2021) were performed with great success while “Veronica, Nice to Meet You”, a contemporary dance choreographed by Dejan Kolarov is in preparation.
