The Government of the Republic of Serbia Appointed Acting General Manager of the National Theatre in Belgrade and New Management and Supervisory Boards

The Government of the Republic of Serbia has adopted a decision to appoint an Acting General Manager of the National Theatre in Belgrade, along with new members of the Theatre’s Management and Supervisory Boards, which is one of the country’s most prominent cultural institutions.
At its session held on 3 July, the Government of the Republic of Serbia appointed Dr. Dragoljub Bajić, an opera artist and university professor, as the Acting General Manager of the National Theatre in Belgrade.
The new Management Board of the national theatre will be chaired by director Dragoslav Bokan, and its members will include actor Milenko Pavlov, composer Miroljub Aranđelović Rasinski, Iva Bojović Petković, director of the “Lujo Davičo” Ballet High School, and Nataša Madžarević Mijailović, member of the Opera Choir of the National Theatre.
The members of the Supervisory Board will be Economics degree holders: Snežana Netković as chairwoman, and Slobodan Todorović and Dragiša Ilić as members.
The Serbian Government’s decisions were implemented at the first constitutive session of the Management Board of the National Theatre in Belgrade.
