Gala Concert Conducted by Maestro Gianluca Marcianò Greeted with Standing Ovations

A Gala Concert in celebration of the World Music Day ceremoniously brought the artistic season of the National Theatre in Belgrade to a close this evening. The auditorium was filled to capacity, and the audience rewarded the artists with long applause and standing ovations following a concert that marked the end of yet another successful season.
Under the baton of the celebrated Italian maestro Gianluca Marcianò, the soloists, Choir, and Orchestra of the Opera of the National Theatre performed a rich and diverse programme comprising some of the most beautiful arias, duets, and choral pieces from famous operas, operettas, and canzoni. The carefully selected repertoire, performed with exceptional artistic dedication, was met with great enthusiasm from the audience that gave each performance big applause.
Directed by Ivana Dragutinović Maričić, the concert unfolded in a festive atmosphere, while the outstanding musical interpretation and the stage energy of all participants made the evening a fitting conclusion to the season.
The performers included Sonja Šarić Kosovac, Dejan Maksimović, Željka Zdjelar, Sofija Pižurica, Vladimir Andrić, Dragutin Matić, Sanja Kerkez, Snežana Savičić Sekulić, Janko Sinadinović, Aleksandra Stamenković, Jasmina Trumbetaš Petrović, Ivanka Raković Krstonošić, Vesna Đurković, Svetlana Lovčević, and Anđela Simić.
At the very end of the evening, the audience repeatedly greeted the performers and Maestro Marcianò with standing ovations, expressing their gratitude for an unforgettable musical experience and a concert that brought this year’s season of the National Theatre in Belgrade to a most wonderful close.
