Successful Guest Performance of the Drama and Ballet at the National Theatre in Sarajevo

On February 7 and 8, the Belgrade National Theatre gave a guest performance at the National Theatre in Sarajevo with Branislav Nušić's comedy "The Bereaved Family" and Igor Pastor's modern ballet "Seven Deadly Sins". These performances also marked the renewal of cooperation, after several decades, with the oldest and the largest theatre in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Sarajevo audience were delighted with the play based on the text by the famous Serbian comic playwright, directed by Jagoš Marković, and the performance was accompanied by bursts of laughter and applause on the open stage.

At the end of the performance, the audience gave standing ovations and shouted "Bravo" at the acting ensemble, which included Saša Torlaković (Agaton Arsić), Radmila Živković (Simka), Danica Maksimović (Sarka), Nebojša Dugalić (Proka Purić), Vanja Ejdus (Gina). ), Aleksandar Srećković (Tanasije Dimitrijević), Nela Mihailović (Vida), Danilo Lončarević (Dr. Petrović, lawyer), Andrijana Đorđević (Danica) and Dušan Matejić (Mića).

The following day, the Sarajevo audience were introduced to the Ballet Ensemble that performed "Seven Deadly Sins", a modern ballet choreographed by Igor Pastor, which was a great success.

The spectators gave a well-deserved, big round of applause to Milan Rus, Bojana Žegarac Knežević, Nikola Bianco, Russell Knox, Dejana Zlatanovski, Gabriele de Fazio, Milena Ogrizović, Maja Stojakov, Mina Radoja, Ljiljana Velimirov, Olja Đukić, Natalija Aksentijević, Sonja Milovanov, Antonio Bibo and Raffaele Diligente.

On February 7, as part of the guest performance, "Borislav Bora Grigorović" exhibition by Dragica Gaćeša (produced by the Museum of the National Theatre in Belgrade) was opened in the theatre lobby, dedicated to this renowned theatre, television and film director, actor and screenwriter (1928-2010) who directed thirty productions during the decade he spent at this theatre.  

Grigorović was the permanent director of the Sarajevo National Theatre from 1954, when he staged Goldoni's "Mirandolina", until 1964, when he returned to the National Theatre in Belgrade, where he remained until the end of his professional career.
